My sugar craving tendencies and yo yo dieting goes way back to when I was 12 years old and would eat rows of oreo cookies at night without even thinking twice. As an adult I was ashamed, confused, frustrated and overwhelmed for over a decade by the fact that I could get everything else in my life under control EXCEPT my cravings for ice cream and chocolate chip cookies. I battled with eating disorders in college, again, struggling with the late night sugar cravings for Entenmann’s cakes followed by guilt and shame the next day because my jeans wouldn’t button.
